Amazing idea, because no one really reads in cultural L.A.

Currently reading: Henry and June.

Definitely interested in December cocktails/reading date!

Currently re-reading Robert Jordan's "Knife of Dreams" for the third and final time -- in mourning. Hopelessly lost, not really looking forward to any new books for fear of ... loss.

the song

Currently Reading: Don't Make a Scene by Valerie Block for a book review website. Coincidentally, it's a novel with many Hollywood trivia nuggets and points out every director and year for every movie reference.

Currently reading "Middlesex" by Jeffrey Eugenides, which they're trying to do as a TV drama.

Also read Audrey Niffenegger's "The Time Traveler's Wife" which I loved, loved, loved and is also being made into a movie that's shooting right now, wrapping in December so could be a great option for future gathering.
